Spent a few days in Bandung recently. Still found the best in their food galore - true as claimed "wisata kuliner". Didn't do much on shopping but one's fancy on choice of fabrics can be easily fulfilled at Pasar Baru.
After more than 5 years since my last visit, the airport tax is still IDR75,000 per person for international flights. Wrapping/secure wrap service is now available at IDR30,000 per box or luggage. Found that to arrive at the airport 1 hour before flying time is still okay as the airport capacity is limited to handle large crowd. Immigration counter was only opened abt 20 minutes before departure and I thought it was a flight delay that made them purposely extend the time. No it was not, the flight was delayed bcos of that late counter opening instead!
Love the food. ...will come back for the food - sate kambing, mie kocok kaki sapi Kebonjukut, es jeruk kelapa and all sort of sambal.
