Cladded myself with a t-shirt bought from Yogyakarta with Rafika Duri and Grace Simon serenading their 70's or 80's hits. I felt like being immersed in the past during my childhood days with my cousins. We used to listen to all sorts of Indonesian pop musics.
Then Es Lilin and Bubuy Bulan and the face of ayah flashed in. The melodic Sundanese songs are so nostalgic. Having been able to visit Yogyakarta, Solo and Bandung, I was so fascinated with the charm and the beauty of Sundanese and of course their ladies included.
Just enjoying the calm of late night alone.
...and the music continues from Ruth Sahanaya to Hetty to Cindy.....
